Happiness is something that we all want and sometimes we’re too blind to see what’s right in front of us. Happiness is something we can choose ourselves; you don’t have to rely on other people to make you happy. Of course other do have a part in our happiness but in the end its up to you whether you choose to be happy or not.
Sometimes it may seem that everything around you just crashes down and you can only see the dark side of things. You prevent yourself from being happy. Sometimes it’s also other people’s fault that we are depressed, but no matter what you can’t blame them, because you! Yourself is responsible for your own happiness.
You should always do the things that makes you happy, not others. Of course you need to think of them to, don’t get me wrong ^^ what I’m trying to say is, for example two years ago I studied to become a lawyer, but it didn’t make me happy, not at all! So I decided to switch my studies so that I could become a makeup artist. This didn’t make my parents very happy but it made me happy, so why wouldn’t I do it? And now they’re happy because I’m happy, which is great!
3 things to do when you’re feeling down and depressed:
1. Take a day off!
One of the things you can do if you’re feeling down and depressed is to simply take a day of. Just use your day on yourself. Take a long hot shower ‘’or bath’’ and spoil yourself a bit, doing this once in a while is really great when you want to feel better.
2. Do things that makes you happy!
As I’ve said thought this entire post: do things that makes you happy! For example paint a painting, play a game, exercise. Whatever makes you happy, doing so will make sure you keep up that positive energy.
3. Be optimistic!
One of the most important things is to simply be optimistic. If you think negative all the time, things will eventually only be negative. Of course you are allowed to think abit negative, but what I’m saying is that you need to keep an open mind and think positive that way things WILL BE positive! ^^
